“Droplets of Endogenous Morphine”
Electricity,Running through my nerves,
Charges crackling,
Piercing through my brain.
This conducive moment,
It writhes and penetrates deeper,
It persists in a flash,
It cackles with a cacophonous crash.
On the sharp tip of a pin,
Infinitely fine,
Spiraling through infinity,
Like a jagged bolt of yellow lightning.
Fractally cutting through the swirling haze,
This piercing awareness,
This connected circuit of being,
Is the all pervading process,
Of opening,
Of clearly seeing,
And settling into being --
For this sparkly realization,
This momentary flash
Of electric of inner light --
This crisp Spirit clarity,
Is pleasantly freeing.
