In the Temple of Being, participants are given the opportunity to interact with their energy in
an integrated, synaesthetic, audio-visual-tactile environment. This temple
utilizes many forms of feedback, to display energy and see its dynamic interactions in the world. A sacred space is created with a wooden pyramid and
gateway, large sacred geometry canvases, and hanging altars that
spin and dance in the wind. The centerpiece is a waist high “loading dock” for
magickal creation – a microcosmic arena where the mental energy of
thought-forms and visions, is trance-fered into the physically embodied ritual
space, for interaction, dramatic play, and manifestation to be real-eyezed.
This process facilitates a smooth progression from connection with the heart,
relaxation through the breath, opening the space for visions to flow forth,
channeling them into the microcosmic universe of the sand mandala arena, seeing
the energy take form through interaction with different symbolic elements, and
completing the creative act with a sigil drawing – a commune-I-cation from the
subconscious power within, which continually reminds the conscious creator of
this real-eyezed vision.
This temple gives the
community a meditative and shamanic environment to listen to the visions and
dreams within their hearts, and facilitates the channeling of energy, into
creative manifestation, through a playful, dramatic, and interactive
environment.
